Elena Soussi and Valeriya  Berestneva first meet through their shared passion for pedagogy.

As teachers at the Conservatoire of Fribourg (Switzerland) and with common projects between their piano classes, they both embark on exploring the repertoire for piano four hands.

The joy of playing and working together becomes evident.

They share the same piano, creating a harmonious unity in their phrasing and feel, as if there were only one performer.

They won the First Honorary Prize at the Leopold Bellan International Competition in April 2023, unanimous First Prize (4-hand category) at the International Piano Competition of Paris in June 2023, the « Gold Hands Award » at the Carles & Sofia International Piano Competition in July 2023 and unanimous First Prize (chamber music category) at France Music Competition.
